How Warmline works
Cold outreach asks a stranger to trust you in one message. Warmline does the opposite: it shows up in your buyers' comments, in your voice, until they know who you are — then flags the moment one's warm enough to reach out to. Here's the whole loop, and how to get the most from it.
The loop
Aim it
Connect the LinkedIn account you'll comment as, tell Warmline who your buyers are — your ICP and the topics they post about — and add a list of people to watch.
Warmline drafts
Twice a day it reads your buyers' recent posts, scores each one for fit, and writes two comment options for the ones worth engaging — in your voice, on the angle that fits the post.
You approve and post
Cards land in your queue and, with the Chrome extension, right on the LinkedIn post itself. You read the draft, change it if you want, and post it yourself. Nothing goes out without you.
Trust builds
Every comment, reply and connection moves that buyer along a track — stranger, noticed, familiar, warm. Warmline keeps the score so you can see who's warming up.
You reach out when they're warm
When a buyer replies warmly or hits the bar, Warmline flags them on your warm list with a DM opener ready to go. That's the moment a comment becomes a conversation.
How comments get posted
You choose, per account. Start on manual and move up as you trust the drafts.
Manual
defaultYou post every comment yourself, from the queue or the extension. Full control, nothing automated. Best while you're learning what a good comment looks like.
Approve first
Warmline queues each card and you approve the ones you like; approved comments go out on a natural schedule. Hands-off, but nothing posts without a yes from you.
Automatic
Comments at or above your score bar post themselves inside the window you set. For when you trust the drafts and want it off your plate — you can still pull anything from the “going out” list.
Safety net: if posting fails three times in a row, Warmline drops that account back to manual and tells you.
Getting the most out of it
Edit the draft into your own words
The drafts are a strong first pass, not a script. Change a sentence so it reads as you — Warmline learns from every edit, so the next ones sound more like you and less like a tool.
Be specific about who you sell to
Sharp ICP and topic keywords mean relevant posts and sharper comments. “Everyone in security” gets you noise; “Heads of Compliance at fintechs dealing with DORA” gets you buyers.
Comment consistently, not in bursts
Trust is built by showing up, not by ten comments in one afternoon. The twice-a-day rhythm is the whole point — let it run.
Give it weeks, not days
The first warm reply usually comes after you've shown up a handful of times. Judge it at three to four weeks, not three days.
Act on warm replies fast
When someone's warm, the DM opener is already written — send it while the comment thread is still fresh. Speed is most of the win.
What to expect
Set up and commenting. Buyers start seeing your name. Mostly groundwork — don't read too much into it yet.
Replies and profile views pick up. A few buyers move to “familiar,” and your drafts start sounding more like you.
Warm replies and DM openers. This is where comments turn into calls. Keep the list fed and the rhythm steady.
